The season will be remembered as relatively long due to the cool and mild temperatures that lasted until the end of August. Even with some late August and early September heat spikes, we began harvest about 10–14 days later than normal. Our fruit had good acid and pH, with rich, intense flavors.
Our Pinot Grigio wine combines Fuji apple nuances and juicy Bartlett pear on a pretty, silky wine that stays focused through its refreshing finish… Versatile with food, this wine should be enjoyed with pasta, simply grilled fish or chicken.

Mother Nature smiled upon the California wine harvest this year with a bountiful crop of amazing quality. A lack of rain late in the season, combined with warm days, cool nights and an ideal growing season have produced bountiful crops throughout the Mendocino wine region.
Our Chardonnay has citrus, Granny Smith apple and some guava flavors. A nice balance of tropical fruit and refreshing citrus. The wine finishes clean and bright, begging for another taste. This wine should be enjoyed with lightly cooked shellfish, grilled fish, chicken or pasta.

Our 2012 Zinfandel wine benefits directly from the warmer climate of inland Mendocino County. The Ford Family Vineyard location brings us abundant daytime sun and cool nights during the growing season, to ensure proper ripening.
This beautifully crafted Zinfandel brings the senses to fall harvest with ripe blackberry, fennel and warm spice. The aroma is followed through in the mouth bursting with wild berries and vanilla. The taste lingers on the tongue with smoothness of rich caramel. Our zinfandel wine goes wonderfully with beef, lamb, pork and venison, either braised, grilled or roasted. Salute!
